Far too often digital color correction is viewed as a way to simply fix problems with the original footage, while in reality it can do a lot more! It can tell an audience if a character feels secure or senses danger, if they are freezing or warm, if it is day or night, or even if the season is summer or fall. When used appropriately, color correction improves the story and creates a consistent tone and flow for the film.
