2024 Year in Review

In 2024, we had opportunities to work on many amazing projects from promos to family films, documentaries to television series. We love the opportunities to continue to communicate truth with excellence.

hike and seek

We worked with Answers in Genesis as a post production partner on Season 3 of their show,“Hike and Seek.” We provided the editing and color on all 8 episodes!

In Hike and Seek, host Peter Schriemer takes viewers on wildlife adventures into the natural world to learn how to hike in creation and seek our Creator.

THE VOID

I enjoyed working on this short docu-drama project for Prager University.

Why is Gen Z the most depressed, anxious, and overly medicated generation in America? Detached and lonely, millions of young people are plunging into the void of escapism and social media addiction, only to find themselves more isolated and alone. PragerU’s short documentary offers some solutions to Gen Z and their families for overcoming this mental health crisis by taking on responsibilities and finding purpose.

This party scene had some fun/bold colors to work with and keep matched together throughout the scene. It was also great to spend time collaborating with the DP as we finessed the overall look of the cinematic footage.

the Swastika and the Cross

We provided full post production services for Raincome Studio’s video series “The Swastika and the Cross.” The series consisted of 40 videos ranging between 3min to 14min, and one long form compilation of all the videos with a run time over 2.5 hours!

Stories in stones

We provided full post production services for Raincome Studio’s short documentary “Stories in Stones.”

Stories in Stone captures the heritage we share as Americans through a moving tour of Washington DC in documentary format, featuring Tim Schmig.

Freedom JOURNEY EXPERIENCE

I always love a project about early American history and enjoyed being the colorist for two short films for the Freedom Journey Experience!

The Freedom Journey Experience is a 1-hour multi-media experience presented in our newly constructed One-Room Schoolhouse, Colonial Church, and Liberty Theater. An unforgettable way to learn the principles of freedom and America’s founding documents!

IDE Missions Videos

For this project we partnered with Moving Visual Films to provide full post services (editing, color, sound and motion graphics) for the 7 projects.

The project was aimed to help raise awareness within Iowa District East – LCMS churches about the missions while encouraging people to get involved in supporting them.

The case of the missing boot

The Case of the Missing Boot was a fun project we made as a family! Sarah and I wrote, filmed and edited the project. A unique factor of the color grading for this project was creating an old film style look for the “detective office” scenes! Watch the film here.

teaching & events 

This year was our first experience having a booth NRB  Convention and it was incredible! John-Clay and Sarah also attended CWVFF and ICVM and enjoyed networking with friends and others in the film industry.

Looking back on 2024, we’re grateful for a year of amazing clients, incredible projects, and the opportunity to tell the stories of organizations who are changing lives across the nation.
